Clinic focus will be on introducing players to the game of lacrosse through instruction on fundamental stick-handling and game situations with fun competitions and within age-appropriate groupings. Instruction is provided by Motor City’s girls and boys coaching staff with experience in the men’s and women’s game including collegiate player and high school player alumni. This is a non-contact & no-equipment-required clinic. The camp is geared towards beginning players with no prior organized lacrosse experience. While lacrosse sticks and training-specific lacrosse balls appropriate for beginner instruction will be available for use at the clinics, players are encouraged but not required to purchase a stick prior to or during the clinic to enable practice at home and allow for early success and faster advancement in the game.
